Golf tour in Fukuoka & Kyushu

 

Fukuoka and Kyushu are Paradises of Golf

 

Kyushu has about 250 golf courses and you can play golf comfortably throughout

the year because it is warmer than other areas in Japan.

Our Golf tour is a package tour including arrangement of golf courses, transportation,

Where to play golf  

 

Fukuoka-prefecture

 

Where to play : Fukuoka-city, Kitakyushu-city, Itoshima, Dazaifu, ChikugoMunakata,

 Fukuoka-prefecture has 60 golf courses that the large number of courses in Kyushu.

There are many champion courses with long history and a lot of Professional Golf

Tournament have been held here in Fukuoka-prefecture.

Access to almost all golf courses are within one and half hours from Fukuoka-city.

You can enjoy playing golf and sightseeing while staying  Fukuoka-city 

 


 

Nagasaki-prefecture

 

Where to play :Unzen, Shimabara, Nagasaki, Sasebo, Omura

Nagasaki-prefecture is located in the west side of Kyushu and it is a popular area for golf

due to warm climate through the year. There are a lot of beautiful seaside challenging courses.

And Nagasaki-prefecture  is a popular tourist destination such as Nagasaki-city,

Sasebo, Shimabara and Unzen ; you can enjoy golf and sightseeing.

 


 

Oita-prefecture 

 

Where to play : BeppuYufuin, Oita

Oita-prefecture is one of most famous Onsen resort in Japan, where has Beppu and Yufuin,

and has about 20 golf courses. You can enjoy sightseeing and golf here.

 


 

Kumamoto-prefecture 

 

Where to play :Kumamoto, Aso

Kumamoto-prefecture has about 40 golf courses that is 2nd largest number in Kyushu.

Golf courses are located in Aso Kuju National Park, there are many courses where you can

see beautiful scenery of Mount Aso while playing golf.

 


 

Miyazaki-prefecture

 

Where to play : Phoenix Resort, Miyazaki

Miyazaki-prefecture has 30 golf courses and it is warm climate you can enjoy playing

golf throughout the year.

Most popular courses are Phoenix Country Club and Tom Watson Golf Course.

Kagoshima-prefecture

 

Where to play : Kagoshima, Ibusuki

Kagoshima-prefecture is one of the best place for golf in Kyushu and has

about 30 golf courses. You can play comfortably in winter season as well, because

it is warn climate with 18 degree Celsius average temperature in the year.

Shimonoseki travel guide

 

Shininoseki is situated on the westernmost tip of the prefecture faces  Kitakyushu-city’

Moji with Kanmon Strait in betweenand connected by the Kanmon-kyo-Bridge  and 

Kanmonon tunnel.

The Kanmon Strait is known as the scene of an ancient battle leading the fall of the Heike Clan.

Dan-no-ura canal, where the Emperor Antoku (eight-years-old grandson of Heike Clan

Taira-no Kiyomori), who fled to Dan-no- ura, took his own life by drowning himself.

 


 

 Akama Shrine

The shrine located in Shimonoseki, enshrines the Heike clan and the young

Emperor Antoku, who died in the battle against the powerful samurai clan, Genji. 
The Dragon’s Palace-styled , located to the north of Dan-no-ura, is
consecrated to

the tragic young emperor and has the Emperor Antoku’s tomb in its precincts.


 

Karato-ichiba Fish market

Shimonoseki is the Japan’s principal fishing ground for the Blowfish, is called

Fugu in Japanese.
You can find eat Fugu Sushi or Sashimi at the Fish market near JR Shimonoseki

Station.


 

Sunpanro

The Treaty of Shimonoseki, known as the Treaty of Maguan in China, was

signed on April 17, 1895, between the Empire of Japan and Qing Empire of

China, ending the First Sino-Japanese War.


 

Hinoyama

A mountain located in Shimonoseki-city with an altitude of 268m.

From the observatory at the summit of the mountain, beautiful views, 

such as Kanmon Bridge, Shimonoseki city, Genkainada, Mojiko Retro 

district and Suo-Nada, can be seen.


 

Kaikyo-yume tower

Kaikyo-yume tower means Kanmon Strait dream tower is a landmark of

Shimonoseki-city, and has the international conference hall and the 

exhibition trade fair site.

Shunpanro

 

The Treaty of Shimonoseki, known as the Treaty of Maguan in China, was signed on April 17, 1895, between the Empire of Japan and Qing Empire of China, ending the First  Sino-Japanese War.

The peace conference took place from March 20 to April 17, 1895.

 

 

Kaikyo-yume tower

 

It means Kanmon Strait dream tower is a landmark of Shimonoseki-city, and has the international conference hall and the exhibition trade

fair site. 
From the observatory at 143m high place, around 
Shimonoseki-city, Kanmon Strait including Kanmon-kyo Bridge, Ganryujima Island as well as Mojiko Retro district can be seen.

 

 

 

Hinoyama

 

 

Hinoyama is located in Shimonoseki-city with an altitude of 268m.
Hinoyama means mountain of fire since there was a signal fire place to tell an enemy’s attack.
From the observatory at the summit of the mountain, beautiful views, 

such as Kanmon-kyo Bridge, Shimonoseki city, Genkainada, Mojiko Retro district and Suo-Nada, can be seen.

 

 

Akama Shrine

 

Akama Shrine located in Shimonoseki, enshrines the Heike clan and the young Emperor Antoku, who died in the battle against the powerful samurai clan, Genji. 

Sentei Festival is held in May every year.
This festival was started when court ladies visited the grave of the Emperor Antoku and prayed for this young emperor who died at a mere eight years old during the battle between the Heike and the Genji.

 

Karato Fish Market

 

Karato Fish Market, is a fish market in Shimonoseki establish in 1933, and the blowfish trading volume is Japan’s highest.

This market is not only the wholesale market of fresh fishes taken in the sea around Shimonoseki but also the retail market of fishes, marine products and sushi.

 

 

 

You can eat various Sushi with a economical price.
