八幡は、百万ドルの夜景の皿倉山と、製鉄産業の積み出し港でもある洞海湾との間にある地域で、
見所が数多くあります。例えば、宇宙のテーマパーク「スペースワールド」、
製鉄の歴史を紹介する「東田高炉記念公園」、また「いのちのたび博物館」は西日本最大面積を誇り、
また、皿倉山の自然に囲まれた温泉もあります。

Yahata is located between Mt. Sarakura, from where visitors can enjoy 
“the One Million Dollar Night View”; and Dokai Bay, which is used 
as a shipping port for the steel industry. 
Yahata boasts various tourist attractions such as Space World, a space theme park; 
Higashida Blast Furnace Memorial Square; Kitakyushu Museum of Natural History and 
Human History, which is the largest museum in western Japan; 
and also hot springs set amid the natural surroundings of Mt. Sarakura.
