These are commonly known as “Ryokan.” They are primarily located in “Onsen” (hot spring)
resorts. This style of accommodation, based on traditional Japanese inns, offers an
immersive cultural experience that prioritizes relaxation, seasonal aesthetics, and the spirit
of Japanese hospitality known as “Omotenashi.”
