We had a great time in Kyushu! Our family is glad the services from Shuji san in general and he is also

very helpful to arrange reservation with restaurants. 

Only 2 minor suggestion that Bottle of water can be prepared and ready for daily consumption for the

next big family tour group. It will be easier and save time to have sufficient water for the tour group. 

Some place may close early. It will be great to have the tour guide to “control” the timing to ensure the

tour can reach the spot before it closes or enough time to enjoy the food. For example, we only had

5 -10 mins on the fish market on day 1 (we couldn’t really had a good seafood meal there.) and the

marine center – dolphins show was missed on day 2.

What a beautiful place you live in!

The scenery around Aso was spectacular, the hotels were great especially the ones with

onsens, we loved the food a highlight being the meal at Obama Onsen.

I guess we should have really asked for a guide as well as a driver. 

Ken was an excellent and safe driver but were all wanting a lot more information than

he could tell us.

A wonderful trip, and I will be recommending Kyushu to everyone.

Miki San is a very good guide. And Sato-San   is a very capable and safe driver.  

My feedback to you is that the BBQ  place is probably not suitable as the place is

filled with smoke and no ventilation fans. Also the first 2 golf courses are good ,

the third course is too hilly and undulating for seniors like us.  Too tiring climbing

up the many slopes without caddy.  The food selections were fabulous..

we enjoyed the wide array of food.

Dear Masa-san,

We throughly enjoyed our 8 days guided with our English speaking driver Tasuke Sekimoto

(our very 1st visit to Kyushu).  

Tuck is very knowledgeable and accommodative towards all our asks.  For the 1st 2 days,

itinerary had to be revamped entirely due to heavy rain and he was able to navigate this skilfully.  

We had amazing food recommendations from Tuck across all price range and was able to

experience many memorable add-ons (rickshaw experience with Kimono, etc).  

Kaiseiki dinner and onsen at Arden Hotel Aso was fantastic, although the bed was quite hard

(hotel fixed that with additional bedding layering the next day).  Yufuin Shikisai ryokan was below

average – access into the hotel lobby from car drop off point is quite difficult with heavy luggage

(winding and uneven stones).

Overall it was a great trip for us and would highly recommend Tuck for others considering small

group tour (using his own vehicle which was very spacious and well kept).

It was a pity that southern Kyushu like Kagoshima and Miyazaki were not suggested during itinerary

planning even though we had have indicated that we are staying 11 days in total within Kyushu.

 I thought that it was due to accessibility considerations. You may want to consider these destinations

for your future client groups who spend longer time within Kyushu (completes the area tour).

It was a wonderful trip.

Yumeishizuku Ryokan was beautiful and  dinners at both Yumeishizuku & Sotonoyu

Waraku Ryokan were fabulous. Thank you for arranging this.

We like to share with you a feedback for Shikisai Hotel, which is not favourable.

Shikisai Ryokan is not a friendly place. We encountered difficulty dragging our luggages

& a wheelchair at outdoor uneven stone ground to check-in at  Ryokan and we have an

elderly too, no help was provided by Ryokan. When we left Ryokan, we didn’t receive any

support from Shikisai Ryokan as well. Not a friendly and hospitable place. Additionally,

we couldn’t enjoy the onsen as private onsens were fully booked and their dinner was

also below average. Would suggest to reconsider recommending Shikisai Hotel to your

next customer.

Nonetheless, we are happy to share your email address to our friends in Singapore.

I have also  given your email address to my friend Mandy, who will reach you via email

about Hokkaido.

I don’t think you do Hokkaido but I will have her to reach you. You may let her know.
