Terms and Conditions
Please read carefully
The purchase of any travel services offered by Japan KYUSHU Tourist constitutes a contractual
arrangement between you and Japan KYUSHU Tourist, and represents your acceptance of the
Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read and understand these Terms &
Conditions carefully prior to booking.
If the person making the reservation is doing so on behalf of a group, that person must have the
authority to accept these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the entire party and is responsible
for ensuring that each member of the party is kept fully informed of all reservation details.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation.
Payment
Where a booking is made 31 days or more in advance of the Departure Date, a non-refundable
deposit shall be payable upon booking, and the balance shall be payable in full no later than
30 days prior to the Departure Date.
If the booking is made 30 days or less prior to the Departure Date, the full price shall be payable
within 7 days of receipt of the Confirmation Invoice. Time for payment shall be of the essence.
No payment shall be deemed received by Japan KYUSHU Tourist until we have received
cleared funds.
Price
Upon issuance of your Confirmation Invoice and subject to our receipt of the deposit or full
payment, the price of your tour will be guaranteed and subject to no further changes.
It is your responsibility to verify that the details on the Confirmation Invoice are accurate
Any additional requests not specified on the Confirmation Invoice do not constitute part of
this Contract.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your reservation in writing at any time. If you cancel the reservation or
fail to make payment in accordance with the terms above, Japan KYUSHU Tourist
reserves the right to charge cancellation fees as follows (based on Japan Standard
Time):
・61 days or more prior to departure: Loss of deposit
・40 to 60 days prior to departure: 40% of the total price
・15 to 39 days prior to departure: 60% of the total price
・6 to 14 days prior to departure: 75% of the total price
・Within 5 days of departure (including No Show): 100% of the total price
The cancellation date shall be deemed the business day on which Japan KYUSHU Tourist
receives written notice of the cancellation.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in the tour price. Japan KYUSHU Tourist strongly
recommends that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover
unforeseen circumstances, including medical emergencies and trip cancellations.
Such insurance typically covers non-refundable costs if you must cancel due to illness,
family emergencies, or other unexpected events. Please ensure your policy provides
adequate coverage for your specific needs.
Force Majeure
Except where otherwise expressly stated in these booking conditions, we regret we
cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt
performance of our obligations under our contract with you is prevented or affected
by—or you otherwise suffer any damage, loss, or expense of any nature as a result
of—’force majeure.’ In these booking conditions, ‘force majeure’ means any event
which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due
care, foresee or avoid.
