Mifuneyama rakuen

 

Beautiful Japanese Garden, located in the south-western foot of Mifuneyama.

onstruction of the garden took about 3 years and completed in 1845, the area is about 5ha.

The dynamic cliffs of Mifuneyama Mountain can be seen from the garden.

Nagasaki-cape flower garden

 

Nagasaki-cape is located at the tip of the Kunisaki Peninsula.

In the past, the vast terraced fields that spread out on the cape were used to

grow tobacco, potatoes, and wheat. Currently here is used as a flower garden.

From March to April, 20 million rape blossoms bloom on the cape, making it

one of the largest in Kyushu.

Summer in Nagasaki-cape comes with sunflowers. The full bloom period is

August and September.

Kawachi Wisteria Garden, in Kitakyushu-city

 

Kawachi Wisteria Garden is a private garden at the Mountain foot of Sarakura in 

Kitakyushu-city  and famous for its spectacularly presented, large numbers of 

wisteria flowers. The garden is opened to the public seasonally during the wisteria season w

hich usually peaks around late April to middle of May.

The garden’s most prominent features are two, roughly 100 meter long tunnels made of wisteria

trees of differing varieties and colors, ranging from white to dark purple.

Uminonakamichi Seaside Park

 

The sprawling, family oriented public park located on a narrow peninsula across the bay from

central Fukuoka. The park is made up of several different areas including flower gardens,

playgrounds, an amusement park with ferris wheel, sports fields, a water park, a zoo and large

open spaces and lawns perfect for picnicking.

Kuju Flower Park

 

The Park offers stunning seasonal displays of flowers set against beautiful mountain scenery.

Over 3 million flowers in 500 different varieties from spring to late autumn. The park covers 49

acres of the beautiful Kuju plateau, the Kuju mountain range making a stunning alpine back

drop and the sleeping Buddha of Mount Aso, a vista in the distance.

Nokonoshima Island, in Fukuoka-city

 

Nokonoshima islandin the middle of Hakata Bay Beautiful flowers can be enjoyable

throughout the year. Rapeseed blossom, Cherry blossom, Livingstone daisy Poppy,

Rhododendro, Marigold, Hydrengea, Plumed cockscomb, Dahlia, Sunflower, Cockspur

coral tree Bougainvillea, Scarlet sage, Cosmos, Dahlia, Autumn leaves, Scarlet sage, 

Japanese narcissus, Japanese camellia, Plum.
