Ibusuki and Satsuma peninsula
Ibusuki is known for it’s hot spring Onsen Resort, and it’s famous natural steam sand baths
located on Kinko bay. To the east the Satsuma peninsula offers spectacular ocean views
and this peaceful rural area is know as the “home of the sweet potato”.

Chiran
Chiran is a small town in the middle of the Satsuma Peninsula in Kagoshima-prefecture.
It is called a “small Kyoto” and has a preserved Samurai district including a collection of
Samurai houses and gardens. Another interesting place to visit is the Chiran Peace
Museum.

Yame
The country of Green tea, Yame is a rural tranquil region of Japanese tea
cultivation and the traditional crafts manufacturing.
Yame grew in size after the merger with Kurogi town,Tachibana town,Yabe
village and Hoshino village in 2010. The recommendable experience is to
have Gyokuro tea which is the highest grade of Japanese tea cultivated in
Hoshino village.

Kujukushima Islands, in Sasebo
Kujukushima Islands, located at the westernmost tip of the Japanese mainland in Kyushu,
are a picturesque scenic spot consisting of a complex ria coastline and 208 large and
small islands. There are only four inhabited islands: Kuroshima, Takashima, Maejima,
and Todomari Island, and almost the entire area was designated as the Saikai National
Park in 1955. There is Kujukushima Islands pleasure boat, departing from Kujukushima
Pearl Sea Resort.
Cruz Sea, in Nichinan
Cruz Sea is located in Nichinan, Miyazaki-prefecture.
Your wishes come true here. The Cruz Sea is an area of ocean that appears to have a
cross in it when viewed from an observatory.
This cape is known as a ria coast; the “cross shape” was created by the narrow terrain
here being eroded by rivers, resulting in a cross-shaped sea route.
Because the cross-shape looks similar to the Japanese kanji character 叶 (meaning “to
grant a wish”) it is commonly said that if you make a wish here it will be granted.
Kokonoe Yume Otsurihashi, in Oita
The longest pedestrian suspension bridge in Japan the 2nd longest in the World. Splendid
and beautiful view from the thrilling suspension bridge over the Naruko river valley.
The bridge is located in Kokonoe near Yufuin.

Karato Fish Market, in Shimanoseki
Karato Fish Market, is a fish market in Shimonoseki establish in 1933, and the blowfish
trading volume is Japan’s highest. This market is not only the wholesale market of fresh
fishes taken in the sea around Shimonoseki but also the retail market for general consumers
of fishes, marine products and sushi.
Plenty of tourists including oversea people visit and enjoy shopping.
The Special event is “Iki iki Bakngai” which is the food stall event held every weekend
Friday to Sunday and on public holidays.
There are so many kinds of seafood stalls that you’ll be spoiled for choice with Sushi, hearty
seafood bowls and seafood soup. We recommend having lunch of purchased sushi
overlooking the Kanmon Straits in front of you.
Fruits picking in Chikugo region
The Chikugo Plain, where spreads along the Chikugo River basin, is the most
prosperous agricultural region in Fukuoka-prefecture.
In particular, Asakura, Ukiha, and Tanushimaru are cultivated with a wide
variety of fruits.
