Trekking to Mt. Kazashi

Mt, Kazashi is located in Moji, Kitakyushu and the height is 362m above sea level.

The trekking route is maintained from JR Mojiko station to the summit of Mt. Kazashi

through the Kazagashira observatory, trekking time is about 1 hour and 20 minutes.



The magnificent view of Kanmon Strait can be enjoyed from the Kazagashira observatory.

The garden is located in Moji, Kitakyushu-city, and facing to Suo Sea.

Many kind of flowers, plants and birds including migratry birds through the year.

Beppu Hell tour

The most exciting experience in Beppu is the Hell tour.

 A collection of hot springs where the water bubbles forth from underground, often with unusual result.

Seven of the hells are located in the Kannawa district where over 4 km northwest of Beppu station, 

and two in the more remote Shibaseki district.

Kumamoto Castle after Earthquakes

The series of Earthquakes including magnitude 7.0 main shock which struck in April 2016.

Kumamoto Castle sustained damage to its roof and exterior buildings and walls because of the

earthquakes and associated aftershocks.  Several of the castle’s shacihoko ornaments were destroyed,

and a large number of kawara tiles also fell from the roof.

Now the restoration activities are being performed as fast as possible.

Japan’s cheapest and shortest ferry

The Wakato Ferry operated in Dokai bay, Kitakyushu-city between Tobata and Wakamatsu.

It is the Japan’s cheapest and shortest ferry.

Fare 100 yen, operating distance 400 m, operating time 3 minutes

26 Saints Pilgrimage route in Dairi

The Twenty-six Christians, including six foreign missionaries and three young boys, were arrested

in Kyoto and Osaka on the order of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the National ruler, for preaching Christianity.

They were marched 800 km through the snow to Nagasaki and crucified in front of large crowd on

Nishizaka hill on Feb. 5, 1597.

The marched route, as the Pilgrimage route to Nagasaki were from Kyoto, Osaka, Himeji,

Hiroshima, Shimonoseki, Dairi, Kokura, Fukuoka, Saga, and Tokitsu to Nagasaki.


Today, we wish to show the Pilgrimage route in Dairi.
