● Do onsen resorts in Kyushu vary by region?

Kyushu is Japan’s ‘Onsen Kingdom,’ where each region offers a completely different

atmosphere, landscape, accommodation, local meal, and healing experience.

I would be happy to recommend the perfect onsen destination tailored to your preferences

and itinerary. Below is an overview of what each region has to offer.

Recommended Onsen Destinations in Kyushu

・Harazuru (Fukuoka)

Known as the “Double Beauty Spring” because it contains two different skin-cleansing

minerals. Peaceful views of the Chikugo River. Famous for sweetfish (Ayu) dishes in

 the summer.

・Unzen (Nagasaki)

Developed as Japan’s first resort for international travelers within Unzen-Amakusa

National Park. This historic highland is famous for its dramatic geothermal activity

and mystical white steam. The acidic water is renowned for its powerful skin-healing

   properties.

・Beppu (Oita)

Japan’s most famous onsen city with the highest yield of hot spring water.

The “Hells of Beppu” (scenic geothermal pools) and “Jigokumushi” (seafood and

vegetables steamed by natural volcanic heat).

・Yufuin (Oita)

A chic and artistic boutique town at the foot of Mt. Yufu. Morning mist on Lake Kinrin

and trendy cafes. The water is gentle and highly moisturizing for the skin.

・Aso (Kumamoto)

Onsens located inside one of the world’s largest volcanic calderas. Dynamic, vast

grassland views. The water is rich in minerals directly from the active volcano.

・Ibusuki (Kagoshima)

A tropical seaside resort at the southern tip of Kyushu. The world-unique Natural Sand

Bath, where you are buried in geothermally heated sand on the beach for a deep detox.

Could you arrange lunch and dinner during my trip?

Yes, we provide personalized dining proposals based on your preferences and budget,

while taking your overall itinerary into account.

For Lunch

We recommend a variety of options, from Authentic Local Specialties to Japan’s daily soul

food, ensuring you experience the true flavors of each region.

For Dinner

If you are staying at a Ryokan (Japanese-style hotel), dinner is typically served at the

property as part of your stay.

・For other nights, we suggest premium dining experiences such as Authentic Local Cuisine

or Ultimate Japanese Dining to make your evening special.

Could you arrange special meals for lunch and dinner to accommodate

   dietary restrictions?

Yes, absolutely. We coordinate with restaurants and Ryokans in advance to tailor both lunch

and dinner menus to your specific needs, such as halal, vegetarian, or food allergies.

Our goal is to ensure that every guest can enjoy Japan’s culinary delights with total peace

of mind.

Could you arrange Yufuin-no-mori limited express train tickets?

Certainly. We would be delighted to arrange your tickets for the Yufuin-no-Mori limited

express train. Generally, travelers can only book tickets starting one month before the travel

date. However, we are able to secure your seats even earlier than that.

If you choose to book your Kyushu trip with us, we can secure your Yufuin-no-Mori tickets

as part of your comprehensive tour package.

How can we make a reservation for the Takachiho Gorge boat?

Please note that bookings must be made online starting two weeks prior to your visit.

Reservations cannot be made by phone, and same-day tickets are not available at the gorge.

Online bookings open at 9:00 AM JST, exactly two weeks before the visit date.

Due to high demand, slots fill up very quickly; it may be difficult to secure your preferred time

if you do not book immediately after the window opens. Furthermore, while the booking

process starts in English, some steps may switch to Japanese only, which can be challenging

for international visitors.

However, please rest assured. We can take care of the entire reservation process on your

behalf. Simply provide us with the number of people and your preferred date and time, and

we will handle everything, including the payment process, for you.

Could you arrange Kagura experience in Takachiho?

Takachiho Kagura is a sacred ritual performed daily from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Kagura-den

(Kagura Hall) of Takachiho Shrine. Step into the mystical world of Japanese mythology in

Takachiho, the “Land of the Gods.” Witness the sacred Kagura dance, a dedicated ritual

preserved for centuries to honor the deities. This profound spiritual performance offers a rare

glimpse into the ancient heart of Japan.

We provide full support for your visit, including Kagura bookings, hotel, and private transportation

to Takachiho Shrine, ensuring a seamless experience.

Could you arrange Samurai experience in Kumamoto?

We are pleased to offer an exclusive Samurai experience in the heart of Kumamoto City,

just steps away from the historic Kumamoto Castle.

Discover the legacy of Japan’s greatest swordsman, Miyamoto Musashi. In this exclusive

program, you will delve into authentic swordsmanship and spirituality preserved for 380 years.

This is not just a tour; it is a journey into the heart of the true Samurai.

● The Limitations of Mass-Market Tourism

While many travelers settle for standard group tours because they are more affordable,

these trips often come with significant limitations that compromise the exclusive privacy

and enjoyment you deserve. In contrast to our bespoke journeys, common challenges

in the industry include:

Rigid Schedules & No Flexibility
Standard group tours follow rigid schedules, leaving no room for the flexibility to travel at

 your own pace.

Surface-Level Experiences
Many tours turn into ‘sightseeing by checklist’—simply listening to guides and taking photos,

without any genuine local interaction or authentic Japanese experiences.

Missing the ‘Real Japan’
Many travelers feel they are missing the ‘Real Japan’ because they are constantly

surrounded by the same generic tourist spots and crowds.

Repetitive & Limited Dining
Dining is often limited to repetitive ‘group sets’ like tempura and sashimi, offering little

chance to explore the diverse seasonal flavors of the region.

High Stress & Lack of Privacy
Spending long hours on a crowded bus with strangers can be a major source of stress,

depriving you of the privacy and comfort you deserve.

We eliminate these barriers to provide a seamless, private, and authentic journey

through Kyushu.
