How to Book a Takachiho Gorge Boat Ride

Staff BlogPlease note that bookings must be made online starting two weeks prior to your visit. Reservations cannot be made by phone, and same-day tickets are not available at the gorge. Online bookings open at 9:00 AM JST, exactly two weeks before the visit date. Due to high demand, slots fill up very quickly; it may be difficult to secure your preferred time if you do not book immediately after the window opens. Furthermore, while the booking process starts in English, some steps may switch to Japanese only, which can be challenging for international visitors. However, please rest assured. We can take care of the entire reservation process on your behalf.
