We had great weather on our Walk of the Martyrs on Friday, 5 June. It was the only day without rain (it rained on Thursday and on Saturday). It must be divine intervention.  However, it became hot around 1.00 pm so we only walked about 7-8 km and the rest was by car to Nishizaka Hill.  The Atomic Museum was just so so sad but my husband and I learnt a lot.   Our driver, Shimazu-san, was also very good and drove us safely to all our destinations and to Nagasaki Airport. By the way, Rouran also had a separate restaurant for Sukiyaki. Okano Steakhouse and Rouran sukiyaki were both good.   …
