Kawachi Wisteria Garden

Kawachi Wisteria Garden is a private garden at the Mountain

foot of Sarakura in Kitakyushu City and famous for its

spectacularly  presented, large numbers of wisteria flowers.

The garden is opened to the public seasonally during the wisteria

season which usually peaks around late April to middle of May.

Uminonakamichi Seaside Park

The sprawling, family oriented public park located on a narrow

peninsula across the bay from central Fukuoka.

The park is made up of several different areas including flower

gardens.

Nokonoshima Island

Nokonoshimain the middle of Hakata Bay Beautiful flowers can be

enjoyable throughout the year. Rapeseed blossom, Cherry blossom,

Livingstone daisy Poppy, Rhododendro, Marigold, Hydrengea,

 Plumed cockscomb, Dahlia, Sunflower, Cockspur coral tree 

Bougainvillea, Scarlet sage, Cosmos, Dahlia, Autumn leaves, 

Scarlet sage, Japanese narcissus, Japanese camellia, Plum.

Nagasaki-bana cape

Beautiful Resort Park facing to Suo Sea, located in the northern part

of Bungo Takada Citythe tip of the Kunishin peninsula.  The cape that

faces the Suo Sea, and protruding like a nose” . The resort park

features a beach, a campsite, restaurant and more.

Kuju Flower Park 

The Park offers stunning seasonal displays of flowers set against

beautiful mountain scenery. Over 3 million flowers in 500 different 

varieties from spring to late autumn. The park covers 49 acres of the

beautiful Kuju plateau, the Kuju mountain range making a stunning

alpine back drop and the sleeping Buddha of Mount Aso, a vista in

the distance.


 

Premium Breweries

Kyushu is Japan’s premier destination for diverse alcoholic beverages. From traditional refined Sake

to unique Shochu and high-altitude Wine, the region’s pure spring water and fertile lands produce

world-class flavors rooted in centuries of craftsmanship.

 

Sake Brewery Suginoya

Suginoya was founded in 1870 in Itoshima and Sake, local beer as well

as special liquors are producing.

There is the tasting corner,  let’s sample sake.

Shochu Brewery Beniotome Shuzo 

The shochu of Beniotome Shuzo is distilled from Sesame. 

The brewery can be visited and there is a tasting corner,  Let’s sample

Chochu.

Katsuya Shuzo

Established in 1790, Katsuya Shuzo is a historic brewery located in

Munakata. They are dedicated to traditional hand-crafting methods,

producing refined sake that perfectly complements the fresh seafood

of the Genkai Sea

Kuju Winery

The winery established in 2002, and is located in Kuju-kogen plateau.

 Kuju Winery brews and produces their own original brand of wine at

its 5 hectare vineyard, the largest one in the country.

 


 

 

Seasonal Fruit Picking

Kyushu, and particularly Fukuoka Prefecture, is a paradise for

fruit lovers, offering fresh picking experiences in every season.

Thanks to our mild climate and expert farmers, you can enjoy

a variety of premium fruits whenever you visit.

Strawberries : December through May, in Ukiha and Yame

Grapes :  August to beginning of October, in Ukiha and Tanushimaru 

Blueberries : June to August, in Ukiha and Tanushimaru 

Persimmon : Middle of October to beginning of December, in Asakura, Ukiha

 and Tanushimaru 

Apple : August to December, in Asakura and Kama
