The beautiful prairie of 785,000 square meter in the crater. Spreads in northern part of
Mt. Eboshi that is one of the Aso five Mountains.
A big pond at its center and grazing horses round about make an idyllic scene.
Visitors can enjoy the various seasons from its vivid green summer to the fantastic silvery
winter, as well as riding horses and strolling around throughout the year.

Mount Naka is a part of Mount Aso.
Mount Aso is consist of five consecutive mountain located in the Caldera where is
25 km across north to south and 18 km across east to west.
The most exciting mountain is Mount Naka with an altitude os 1506m which is the
largest active volcano in Japan.
You can see the Crater from the top, depending on the weather condition.

Daikanbo is located on the northern part of outer edge of the Aso Caldera. The perfect spot view
the northern part of caldera and the Aso five mountains. The must visiting tourist spot in Aso,
The circumference of the Aso caldera is about 130 kilometers. From the observation site, you
can clearly see its conical shape. Early in the morning, the clouds had spread out below us, and
hung over the caldera as if they were a large sea.

Aso South Panorama line, in Aso
The Aso Panorama line is the Aso mountain roads that leads to the summit of Mount Five mountains.
There are three routes, and the most recommended are South and North Panorama
lines. Aso South Panorama line is connected from Minami-Aso to Aso Five mountains area.

Kumamoto is the 3rd largest city in Kyushu located almost in the center of Kyushu, with Aso
region on the east side and the Ariake Sea on the west side. There is one of the Japan’s
three great castles, Kumamoto Castle. Shimotori shopping street is one of the largest shopping
arcades in Japan where you can enjoy shopping and local cuisines.

The southern most major city in Kyushu and from here you can see Sakura-jima Island and
it’s active volcano from which smoke and steam rise across Kagoshima Bay. Kagoshima
prospered in the Edo period as a castle town. Tenmonkan is the biggest shopping arcade
and here you can dine on local cuisines, especially succulent meats and also enjoy the
vibrant night life, bars and restaurants.

Harazuru, in Fukuoka-prefecture

it is best known for its steaming sand baths along the beach, where bathers in a yukata, or
Japanese bathrobe get buried in the sand up to their neck. The sand heated by steam
containing marine minerals is scientifically proven to have therapeutic effects on neuralgia,
rheumatism, back pain and other ailments.

Nanzoin temple, Reclining Buddha statue, in Fukuoka-prefecture
Nanzoin is a Shingon Buddhist Temple in Sasaguri, Fukuoka-prefecture.
It is notable for its bronze statue of a reclining Buddha, said to be the largest
bronze statue in the world.
Completed in 1995, the giant bronze Reclining Buddha statue, known as Nehanzo,
depicts the historical Buddha at the moment of his death and entry into nirvana.
The statue’s impressive dimensions and intricate details make it a sight to behold,
attracting visitors from all over the world.

Ukiha Inari shrine, in Fukuoka-prefectuere
Breath taking scenery in harmony with the Shrine. Ukiha Inari Shrine, located at foot of Mino
mountain range, 130 m height from sea level. The 90 vermilion coloured Torii Gates stand on
the 300 steps stairs is introduced you from bottom area to the Shrine main building.
From the Shrine compound, a breath taking panoramic view of Chikugo plain in harmony with
Torii Gate can be enjoyed.

Yame Central Tea Plantation, in Fukuoka-prefecture
The country of Green Tea, Yame. The Green Tea grown in Yame is one of the
highest grade of tea throughout Japan. This is the large Tea plantation spreading
on a gently sloping hilly area, about 70 ha.
There is an observatory at the top of hill, Ariake bay as well as Shimabara
Peninsula in Nagasaki-prefecture can be seen on sunny days.

Plastic PET Bottle recycling / Nishi-Nippon PET Recycling
PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles are sorted by municipalities and recycled into pellets and
flakes, which can be used as raw materials for polyester fibers and egg cartons.

Melting Furnace / Sin-Moji Plant
The collected waste including metals is melted at over 1,700 degree Celsius in the Melting Furnace
and then the melted slag and metals are discharged. The slag is used as raw materials for pavement
and bricks and the metals are re-used for other steel products. The process and technology of the
Melting Furnace can be learned.

Waste paper recycling / Kyushu Seishi
Refined waste papers is recycled into toilet papers. Sludge generated during the toilet paper
production process is used to produce a foaming inhibitor used by steel works.

Hiagari Sewage water treatment plant
The sewage come through the sewer pipe is purified in the plant and flow into the sea. There is an
also new technology plant which the electricity is generated using the sludge from sewage. At the
Visitor Center established in 2015, sewage treatment process and technologies can be learned.

Industrial Heritage tour in Kitakyushu
The tour offers how Japan became the world’s leading
Industrial country.
In 1901, Japanese modern steel industry started in Kitakyushu. Since then Kitakyushu became
the industry city and Japan’s Industrial modernization has been achieved here with
unprecedented surprising speed.

Japan’s Modern Steel Works history started here
Yawata was a rural village with a small population of agriculture and fishing industry.
And this place was decided in Parliament as the Japan’s Modern Steel Works
construction site in 1897.

In April 2007, based on this theme of “innovation,” the Kitakyushu Innovation Gallery & Studio (KIGS)
opened in Yahata, Higashida, the first site of steel manufacturing in Japan’s modern age.

Connected between Yawata and Tobata. Construction work took three years, and completed in 1930.
The most difficult and hard work was making Miyatayama tunnel with a total length of 1180 m due to
suffering from floods.
The gates of the Miyatayama tunnel are decorated with stately designs.

Takeo & Arita & Imari
The Onsen resort, has 1200 years history
Takeo is located in the western part of Saga-prefecture.
The hot spring temperature is 18 to 52 degrees. Spring quality is smooth with alkaline simple
hot spring. It is said that the color is colorless and transparent and has an outstanding effect
on recovery from fatigue.

Romon Gate, which was designed by a renowned architect in the Meiji Era, Kingo Tatsuno,
and is at the entrance of the Onsen area.

Beautiful Japanese Garden, located in the southwestern foot of Mifuneyama
Construction of the garden took about 3 years and completed in 1845, the area is about 5ha.
The dynamic cliffs of Mifuneyama Mountain can be seen from the gardesn.

Big Camphor tree at Takeo Shrine
One of the oldest Camphor tree in Japan.
The tree is one of the largest in Japan and over 3,000 years old. Designated a natural monument
of the city. It is 30 m high, has a circumference of 20 m, and its branches extend 30 m east-west
and 33 m north-south.

Famous for Arita yaki which is 400-years old porcelain. The piece is bright, elegant pictures
drawn in transparent white porcelain.
