The Spirit of Kyushu: A Symphony of Nature and History
Kyushu was forged by intense volcanic activity in ancient times, creating a landscape
rich with diverse natural beauty and geothermal wonders waiting to be discovered at
every turn. During the feudal era, the island was divided into nine distinct domains,
each cultivating its own heritage. Many regions flourished as international gateways
to Asia and Europe, and as the historic cradle of Christianity in Japan, the island
preserves a spiritual legacy that resonates to this day.

Customized Private Tours : The Ultimate Kyushu Experience

Kyushu’s diversity is too vast to be captured in a standard tour. The island is a world unto itself. While iconic destinations like the steaming hot springs of Beppu, the rugged peaks of Aso, and the multicultural charm of Nagasaki are just the beginning, every corner of Kyushu offers its own unique wonder. We offer bespoke journeys meticulously crafted down to the finest detail, incorporating personalized dining and unique local experiences tailored specifically to your interests. |
Christian Pilgrimage Tours of the Nagasaki region
![]() |
Japan possesses a singular history of Christianity that is unparalleled elsewhere in the world. Christianity was introduced to Japan by Francis Xavier in 1549 and spread primarily throughout the Nagasaki region. However, the Shogunate later issued a ban on the faith, forcing many believers to practice in secret—leading to a long and tragic history of martyrdom across various locations. Following the lifting of the ban, many churches were built throughout the region, and today, people continue to practice their faith freely. We offer customized private tours of churches, cathedrals, and sacred pilgrimage sites—including insightful museums— throughout the Nagasaki region. |
