Frequently Asked Questions
1. About Planning
● Will I have any issues communicating if I don’t speak Japanese?
From the initial planning stages and consultations to on-site support and your
dedicated private guide, we provide full English-language support to ensure
seamless communication throughout your trip. Our team is here to handle
all translations and local interactions in English, allowing you to simply immerse
yourself in the beauty of Kyushu.
● I haven’t decided on my travel dates or destinations yet.
Can I still consult with you?
Absolutely! We can start by discussing your interests—such as nature,
gastronomy, or history—and then propose the ideal season and route from
scratch.
● Is there a fee for creating a custom tour itinerary?
Initial itinerary planning (drafting your itinerary) and consultations are completely free.
No costs are incurred until you are fully satisfied with the plan and enter into a formal
agreement.
● Can you create a plan that fits my specific budget?
Yes, certainly. We can scale the plan to suit your budget by selecting different tiers of
accommodation and adjusting the variety and grade of your meals. Whether you prefer
high-end luxury at a premium price point or a more intimate, cozy atmosphere with local
flavors, we will create the perfect balance for your journey.
● Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or food allergies,
such as vegetarian, vegan, or Halal?
Absolutely. We take dietary requirements very seriously to ensure your peace of mind.
Kyushu is a treasure trove of fresh, diverse ingredients, and we collaborate closely
with hand-picked restaurants to curate exceptional gourmet experiences tailored to
your needs. Even with specific restrictions, we guarantee a culinary journey that is
as delicious as it is safe.
● What kind of spontaneous requests can you accommodate during the tour?
Since your tour is 100% private, we offer a high level of flexibility.
Examples of spontaneous adjustments include:
Dining: We found a local restaurant we’d like to try instead of the planned one.
Photo Stops: The sunset over Aso is stunning—can we pull over for a few minutes?
Shopping: We’d like to stop at a local fruit farm or a traditional craft shop we just passed.
Pacing: We are feeling a bit tired today; can we skip the next shrine and head to the
hotel early for an extra onsen (hot spring) soak?
● How far in advance should I make a reservation?
Ideally, we recommend booking 3 to 6 months in advance. This allows us to secure
your desired hotels and private transportation to ensure the ultimate travel experience
in Kyushu. However, we can often accommodate requests made as late as 2 weeks
to 1 month before departure. Please note that early booking is highly recommended
for popular experiences like the Takachiho boat ride and premium accommodations.
● What is the true benefit of booking with a local agency based in Fukuoka?
Unlike global platforms or general travel agents, we are true Kyushu insiders. Based
in Fukuoka—the heart of the island—we don’t just “book” trips; we live and breathe
Kyushu every day.
This local presence allows us to provide three things no one else can:
1 Unrivaled Access: We have deep, personal relationships with local Japanese
accommodation ryokan owners, restaurateurs, and artisans, granting you access
to experiences unavailable to the general public.
2 Real-Time Intelligence & Experiences: We know the current road conditions, the
peak of the blossoms, and the latest local adventures. Because we are physically
here, we can recommend seasonal activities and hidden experiences that are
happening right now.
3 Instant On-Site Support: Our “One-Team” is always within reach. If you need a
last-minute change or immediate assistance, we are in your time zone and just
a phone call away, ensuring your journey is seamless from start to finish.
● Can I still consult with you even if nothing has been decided yet?
Certainly! All you need is a general idea or even vague keywords—such as “onsen” ,
“nature,” “local meals,” “adventure,” or “Japanese culture.” Our Kyushu experts
will translate your inspirations into a perfect travel concept tailored just for you.
● How many times can I request changes to the draft itinerary?
There is no limit. We believe in an ongoing dialogue until you are 100% satisfied
with every detail of your journey.
● Is it possible to change the daily schedule during the trip?
Yes. Our driver, guide, and support staff work as ‘One-Team’ to seamlessly adjust
the day’s flow based on your mood, the weather, or any sudden inspirations you
may have.
● Could you suggest an itinerary to enjoy seasonal experiences?
Kyushu offers a diverse range of seasonal experiences, from majestic volcanic
mountain ranges to pristine beaches—all waiting to be discovered.
We can weave the essence of Kyushu into your journey, tailored to your schedule:
from the delicate cherry blossoms and lush greenery that herald the arrival of spring,
to the vibrant energy of traditional summer festivals and the dynamic scenery of our
beaches. Experience the brilliant colors of autumn foliage and the ethereal beauty
of rime and silver frost that transform our winter landscapes.
● Could you design an itinerary for a group with seniors?
We can design custom itineraries for groups with seniors, ensuring a comfortable
and relaxed pace. Since you travel by private vehicle, reaching the vicinity of each
spot is no issue. Our main priority is the walking route from the parking spot to each
destination, ensuring it is short and accessible for all members.
We carefully select routes that avoid steep slopes and stairs, ensuring a smooth
experience for everyone. If wheelchair assistance is required, we can arrange for
appropriate support and prioritize locations with barrier-free facilities, so you can
enjoy Kyushu’s beauty without any physical strain.
● Could you design an itinerary for a family with children?
We can certainly design the perfect itinerary for your family. With its abundance
of amusement parks, aquariums, and safari parks, Kyushu is the ultimate
destination for families. We would be delighted to coordinate a bespoke itinerary
that caters to your children’s wishes, ensuring an engaging experience for the
whole family.

experienced before such as extraordinary exciting events, calming and charming environs,
delicious and authentic local cuisine, exquisite Onsen, stunning local scenery and beautiful

Market Research
In order to provide the optimal trip experience in accordance with your travel conditions, plans
and preferences, we are assessing and confirming the situation and standard of tourist
destinations ourselves by staying in Accommodations, eating Meals in local restaurants and
Experiencing various aspects of the location and surrounds.
The results of our market research are being continually updated.
Japan has a wide variety of accommodations that cannot be described simply as either
Western-style hotels or Japanese-style hotels. For example:
Onsen Resort Accommodation
Most of these accommodations offer Japanese-style service, and include dinner.
The accommodation buildings are either Japanese-style or a modern architectural style
that is in harmony with the surrounding nature. Most of the rooms are equipped with
modern beds, and some accommodations have open-air bath rooms.
Tourist destinations accommodation
Most accommodations are in attractive modern architectural styles and many of these
offer breakfast but no dinner.
When choosing a place to stay, we certainly consider not only the services of the
Accommodation, but also the access to restaurants, facilities and tourist attractions.
In order to provide the suitable Accommodation, we stay at a wide range of Hotels from
economy class to luxury class to confirm and assess all aspects such as the availability
of all included items, and the standard and quality of the Service.
